Children's Easter Egg Hunt
and Youth Scavenger Hunt
Following the 10:30 a.m. Service
Children of all ages are invited to join us in the Parish Hall after the service. From there, we will head out to the lawn for an Easter Egg hunt. Middle and high school age kids are welcome to participate in a fun scavenger hunt instead.
Holy Week Activities
Without the journey to the cross, there can be no Easter Sunday.
St. Jude's commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem with a blessing of palms and procession into the church from outdoors.
Sunday, April 2
8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
During a special service, we remember the Last Supper and night in the Garden of Gethsemane before Jesus was arrested. We celebrate the Holy Eucharist and strip the altar.
Thursday, April 6
All children are invited to plant an Easter garden, dye eggs, and hear the Easter story on Saturday in our breezeway.
Bring a flower to plant, some gardening tools if you have them, and a few hard-boiled eggs to color.
Saturday, April 8
Wednesday in Holy Week
Many significant events in Jesus' ministry occurred during this last week of his life on earth, including the Sermon on the Mount. On Wednesday, celebrate the Holy Eucharist with us in our chapel.
Wednesday, April 5
On Good Friday, we remember Jesus' crucifixion. Two services will mark this occasion: at noon we will remember the seven last words of Jesus and hold communion with the Reserve Sacrament. At 6:00 p.m. we will walk the Stations of the Cross in the Sanctuary.
Friday, April 7
12:00 p.m. (Noon)
